Becky Bomar, PLPC
Becky Bomar is a Provisionally Licensed Professional Counselor (PLPC) and graduated in 2018 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology with a minor in Child Development and received her Master of Arts in Mental Health Counseling in 2021 from Southeast Missouri State University. In her counseling sessions, Becky uses Gestalt therapy which is a humanistic and holistic therapeutic approach.
Becky provides her clients with a safe, nonjudgmental place to share their truth so they can start to make sense of their world, accept the part they play in their world, and heal from their past experiences. By helping the client increase their personal awareness the client is able to start challenging the roadblocks that have been getting in the way of their healing. Along with the Gestalt approach, Becky utilizes cognitive behavioral techniques and play therapy to meet her client’s needs.
Becky has firsthand experience how mood disorders, especially ADHD, depression, anxiety, and bipolar impact the family unit. She uses these experiences when working with adults, adolescents, families, and couples.
When not counseling, Becky enjoys spending time with her husband and two children. She is an avid reader and watches way too much TV.
Becky is not in-network with any insurance company at this time. She can provide a superbill to you for out of network reimbursement upon request.
