Kati Knaup, LPC

Kati Knaup is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Registered Play Therapist (RPT) and a certified School Counselor and Psychological Examiner. Kati received her Masters of Science in Education in 2014 from Southern Illinois University – Carbondale and her Educational Specialist in Counseling in 2020 from Southeast Missouri State University.

She has over 10 years of experience working with children, adolescents, and families. Kati uses a holistic person-centered approach to process relational difficulties, adverse experiences, and other developmental challenges. Pulling from expressive techniques such as art, music, Sandtray, and play; Kati assists individuals on a self-directed healing path. Kati is also trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), an intervention designed to assist individuals in working through their experiences with trauma.
