Rhonda McClanahan
Rhonda McClanahan is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), National Board Certified Counselor (NBCC) and National Certified Counselor (NCC). She is also a certified School Counselor and Psychological Examiner. Rhonda graduated from Southeast Missouri State University in 1999 with a Masters of Arts (MA) in Community and Mental Health Counseling and again in 2011 with a Educational Specialist in Counseling (Ed. S).
Rhonda has provided various services for most of her professional career in mental health, wellness and school counseling for 24+ years working with local community agencies and schools. She has experience working with adolescents, adults, couples, families and counselors in training on various topics not limited to grief and loss, relationships, parenting, positive behavior supports, careers and professional development. She uses various techniques in Reality/Solution Focused/Person Centered therapies to meet the needs of those she works with to achieve mental wellness.
When not providing services, Rhonda enjoys spending time with her husband, 2 children, daughter in law, extended family and friends; traveling, hiking, camping and kayaking. You may also find her volunteering and cheering on her hometown athletes at various cheerleading competitions, basketball and football games!
