Let’s Grow Together.
We believe all people have the capacity to grow, be courageous and endure patiently. Through the challenges we experience comes the capacity to heal and grow stronger.
Kiana is a Counseling Intern completing her Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling at Southeast Missouri State University. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Family Studies with a minor in Developmental Psychology in 2020. Through her education and professional experiences, Kiana has had the opportunity to work with children, adolescents, and adults in a variety of settings, experiences that have strengthened her passion for helping others feel understood, supported, and empowered.
Kiana has a special interest in working with children, adolescents, young adults, and couples as they navigate the many transitions, challenges, and relationships that shape their lives. She recognizes that reaching out for support can be difficult and strives to create a warm, welcoming, and judgment-free space where clients can feel comfortable showing up as their authentic selves.
Kiana takes a humanistic approach to counseling and believes that every individual has the capacity for growth and change when provided with the right support and understanding. She works collaboratively with clients to explore their experiences, deepen self-awareness, build confidence, and develop a greater understanding of themselves and their relationships. Kiana hopes to walk alongside each client as they navigate an ever-evolving world, supporting them as they work toward healing, growth, and a life that feels meaningful and authentic to them.
