Morgan Strohm received her Master of Arts in Mental Health Counseling in 2020 from Southeast Missouri State University and her Education Specialist degree in Counseling in 2021 from Southeast Missouri State University. Morgan is a Licensed Professional Counselor and National Certified Counselor.
Morgan provides virtual counseling services, allowing her clients to meet virtually in their own safe and comfortable environment. In her counseling sessions, she uses an Existential lens, as well as utilizing techniques from a variety of other counseling theories in order to best meet the needs of her clients. Morgan has experience with children, adolescents, and adults, working primarily with older adolescents and adults. She has experience working with many issues, while focusing mostly on phase of life problems, anxiety, depression, relationships, grief, and trauma.
Morgan sees the client as the expert in their own life, while she is someone to help guide the client and assist them in processing their feelings. She places an emphasis on how the client sees themselves in the world and what meaning their life holds for them. Morgan believes that when a client has an increased awareness of themselves and the responsibility, choices, and freedom they possess, that client can shape their life to suit their needs.
Outside of work, Morgan focuses on her own self-care by spending time with her husband and daughter, reading, listening to music, and watching her favorite TV shows.
